　　城市客栈邻近观光景点成都宽窄巷,已经经营多年,这间酒店想要改造面貌成为主题酒店,但预算却又非常的低。

　　考虑到所处地点的历史意义,我们想用较具有创意的手法, 将历史与现代结合; 我们让人们走进历史。

　　大堂的设计看似很当代的艺术空间,展示的是老照片和当时的生活用品.把历史变成艺术品展示。酒店的房间则採用黑灰白色系设计,以老街景照片作为背景,并摆设据有历史感的家俱,看起来彷彿一张大形黑白照片,但变成立体了。走进这个黑白色系的世界,拍摄时下最流行的自拍照片,会发现自己像是闯入了黑白照片的唯一彩色形象。

　　为了避免太老旧的物品让人产生不舒服的感觉,我们在空间中并没有设置太多老旧的东西,而是以将历史做为当代艺术品的观念来营造气氛。

　　我们走进这家酒店,看到的就是当地艺术作品”现在和过去” 。

　　City Inn is located nearby historical attraction Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu. The client wants it to be renovated with very low budget.

　　To make people see the history of this area, we let them to walk into the history. The hotel is transferred into a modern art gallery. Photos and products of the old good times were displayed in the lobby as art work. Every room was decorated in monotone. Pictures on the wall are street views in black-and-white color, furniture in black, white or grey are in retro style. The room looks like a pop-up photo. If guests take photos in the room, they will find out they are the only colorful object in a black-and-white photo.

　　When we decorate the objects of past, we don’t want people to see the worn part but the beautiful part of them. We display them as art pieces. City Inn Kuanzhai Alley is a modern are gallery of “Present and Past”.
